It was live and we were part of it! For the twelfth Hybrid Talks we embarked on the quest for new performative instruments, which make music into more than simply an organized form of sound-events. With Stefan Weinzierl, Alberto de Campo, Till Bovermann, Amelie Hinrichsen, and Dominik Hildebrand Marques Lopes, the 3DMIN project was represented well among other speakers (Gerhard Behles – Co-founder Ableton AG; Marius Braun, Christian Dietz, Florian Goltz – Coire). The 150 guests were pleased to listen to the talks, chat and try out some rather unusual instruments. The material for one of the talks can be found here.
The Hybrid Talks aim at promoting mutual inspiration and networking. Representatives of different disciplines meet and elaborate in short presentations on a topic from their point of view. After the presentations, the participants informally exchange ideas beyond their usual disciplines.
